Being a 25 years old Chinese, I really out of fashion, I don’t understand many new words, here are some I learned today, and it surprised me a lot, a country will have only one voice, no matter TV, radio, newspaper, now even Internet. Image it what you will hear if you travel to China, bad news? no. what you will see? What a great Red China!
5毛, 5 cents. Means people who are hired by government to lead public opinion on Internet. Because. “5 cents Party” famous because of earning 5 cents (0.5 Yuan= about 0.07 US dollar) form one post (article or comment or message).
The official name for 5毛, 5 cents is Internet observer. Now, stars in China needs a license to work, these so called Internet observer also need to a license, means they well trained by some job provider.
But why call 5 cents in stead of internet observer.
Because none of them present themselves as a licensed internet observer on internet, they always pretend to be a normal web user, but register in many different names, they only take a part in those activates which mislead people, and praise government, change the truth of something hidden by government
But why drop the official title “internet observer”, and pretend to be a normal web user?
1, corrupt officials are “social vulnerable group” on internet.
2, urban managers who bully and oppress tall peddler, public security and judges who act as if human life is not worth a straw, are also “social vulnerable group” on internet.
3, don’t know when media control departments become “social vulnerable group” not only on internet, but also at sidewalk, maybe because of “ they talk too much truth, good words and true feeling to people too long”.
I have a question comes out, why someone made every attempt to closed network, and made decision to control public opinion.
Because the mission of 5 cents is to praise government, “lead” web users to “ love CPC, love leader”, which basically same functions as propaganda department, actually they have same leader in the case.
Because of propaganda department is “social vulnerable group” on internet, so 5 cents are “social vulnerable group” which means web users look down on them, even possible to spit at them.
It’s obvious, in this situation those post by 5 cents will not pay attention by web users, and it brings not only what web users defiance, but also bad effects to the policy “ lead web users to love CPC and love leaders, love government, love officials, love urban managers, love…”. And licensed 5 cents are represent to CPC, to government, so they cant post something like “ Gobrbachev didn’t have meal for a month because of repentance disintegration of the Soviet Union”, “Nicolae Ceauşescu was assassinated by American secret agent, Romanians miss him day and night”, because web users will ask authenticity of the article.
Because of so many “ inconvenience”, so 5 cents are not take their licenses any more, they changed to start a rumor, slander, kick up a fuss and mislead web users. That’s why articles “ US F22 has no advantage collide to Finback”, “ Iranians miss Saddam”, “UN Secretary-General indicated all democratic countries’ people look forward to authoritarian rule”.
The loyalty of 5 cents party is commendable, maybe thanks to “work more and get more” policy. The policy is not “ mess big pot rice”, so 5 cents turn their “intelligence and wisdom” fully. For example, they actually made web users to love CPC’s dictatorship and hate democracy in the overall situation are people love democracy and hate dictatorship ,this is one of the wonder in the world, and the wonder comes from the 5 cents’ hard working.
Of course, they have some tricks, they also hold meeting frequently, maybe also frame something like 5 cents code of practice, it’s hard to know details by outsiders. However, outsiders may find out basic methods that 5 cents used to cheat web users, such as, must pretend to be a common web user, but obvious 5 cents. If he exposes, his ID becomes worthless anymore. And, being a good 5 cents, he should treat web users, public cold and heartless, hate them, to higher-up, will be unlimited love and appreciate, only love deepest, hate most, in the deep soul will expose the wisdom to cheat web users.
What do you think it’s easy to be a 5 cents? No!
To be 5 cents the great, he must keep the mind that everyone except his higher-up is good and right, then everyone includes his parents, brothers, wife are evil, so that he will be able to write such fantastic masterpieces.
Nowadays colleges are focus to train such 5 cents the great? And it comes effective trend. A trend is clear and obvious now, college students will not “make trouble” if a jobless worker self-slaughter because cant survive any more, however, they “make trouble” if lunch’s price goes up a little bit. Nowadays, college students care themselves extremely, they won’t care society, and people.
In the coming future, the 5 cents may become more and more, most of them maybe well educated. So, parents whose child is a college student or have the ability to become a college student, should notice that, your child may not jobless in the future, however, they probably to be a 5 cents the great.
Since 5 cents are people’s children, so why not we support to better “understand” them?
