贺卫方（1960年－），山东省牟平人，北京大学法学院教授、博士生导师，著名法学家，《中外法学》主编。网名守门老鹤。2001年第一期《中国青年》把他列为将影响21世纪中国的100个青年人之一。
* 1998年在《南方周末》发表《复转军人进法院》一文，引起轩然大波，并引发大家对中国法官制度的思考。
* 2003年孙志刚事件中与另外几位教授上书，建议启动宪法规定的“特别调查委员会”。
* 北京大学一塌糊涂BBS遭封，贺卫方致信许智宏校长，表示异议。
* 他参与起草的中华人民共和国法院组织法草案里,各级法院的名称没有前冠人民二字。
* 2005年6月23日公开声明暂停招收硕士生，被认为是对现行招生体制的质疑。
* 2005年12月25日就武汉大学学术委员会副主任周叶中剽窃事件发表文章“周叶中教授事件及其他”，严厉声讨学术腐败。
* 2007年2月其讲述章诒和著作的贴子（发表在新浪博客上）被无故删去，贺与三位人士发表抗议声明。（详见章诒和条目或鹤之天空博客）
* 2007年底，浙江大学光华法学院院长孙笑侠邀请时为北京大学法学院教授的贺卫方加入光华法学院，以期共同实现教授治校的理想。2008年7月，《南方周末》、《中国青年报》等媒体报道了贺卫方将辞去北大教职南下浙大。11月，华东政法大学杨师群教授在自己的博客上称，辞去北大教职的贺被浙大拒收，“正处于无单位生存的尴尬境地”[1]。几日后，贺卫方在博客里委婉向外界表示自己没有去浙大，仍然居住在北京[2]。2008年12月16日，北京大学法学院院长朱苏力表示贺卫方已回北大任职。
* 2009年3月贺卫方赴新疆石河子大学支教，有评论指此举为变相“流放”。据贺卫方本人表示，预计将会在石河子大学任教两年。
He Weifang (simplified Chinese: 贺卫方; pinyin: Hè Wèifāng) is a professor at Peking University of China and an activist striving to reform the Chinese judicial system.
He earned a B.A. at Southwest University of Political Science & Law, and an LL.M at Peking College of Political Science and Law (former China University of Political Science and Law).
He was an associate professor in China University of Political Science and Law from 1985 to 1995, then become a professor and Ph.D. adviser at Peking University.
Since 2008, he has been the dean of Guanghua Law School of Zhejiang University.
Since 1992, he has strived to reform the Chinese judicial system. He has written many papers on the importance of modernizing China's judicial system, earning him the nickname "Justice He". His works includes The Judicial Ideals and Institutions and The Ways to Carry Justice.
On March 10th 2009, reports emerge on the Internet suggesting he is to be teaching in Shihezi University at Xinjiang for one year.
